Mindful Mobile

Wet - Mobile - EEG

Mindful  Mobile EEG acquisition system is a new generation of wireless wet EEG equipment independently developed using the latest and most innovative EEG technology.  The signal quality of the  Mobile series is comparable to traditional wired EEG equipment.  The system is highly portable and has shielding and technology to maximize signal stability.   At the same time, the Mindful  Mobile is a comprehensive  24 bit, DC coupled amplifier for EEG and ERP,  equipped with a nine-axis motion sensor for the ultimate in movement compensation.

Researchers can conduct a wide range of neuroscience experiments from traditional psychology and brain research in a shielded room, or in more real world settings.   The electrode positions of the Mindful Mobile  series are arranged in accordance with the international 10-20 system, and currently include four configurations of 8/16/32/64.

Used around the world by leaders in Research, Neurofeedback, Neuromarketing, Brain-Computer Interfaces, & Neuroergonomics.

Research-Grade Signal Quality

High precision with low input noise sampling technology boosts the signal-to-noise ratio, guaranteeing excellent signal quality while recording small amplitudes like ERPs

Dynamic Range

Super wide dynamic range with a DC-coupled amplifier prevents saturation of the amplifier by electrode offset voltage or artifacts

Wireless Data Transmission

Data is transmitted via 5GHz WiFi to avoid interference and packet loss in traditionally noisy 2.4 GHz environments, while also supporting simultaneous recording for multiple devices

Motion Artifact Reduction

Mindful Mobile has built in motion-artifact reduction algorithms utilizing a 9-axis motion sensor and real-time signal processing

Free API

All Mindful Mobile systems include free API, which enables users to pull the raw data directly from the headset, for custom software on Windows

Full Head Coverage

The Mindful Mobile has up to 64 channel configuration, allowing for maximum head coverage and unlimited research potential

Child Size System

The Mindful Mobile system has many different cap size ranges, including caps that go as low as 48 cm head circumference, enabling the use of high-density EEG on children as young as 3

Wireless Synchronization

The Wireless TriggerBox simplifies the synchronization of the Mindful Mobile with other devices. It features:

  • 8 bit wireless trigger
  • 1 digital input: microUSB, serial port with DCP
  • 4 analog inputs: TriggerIn (paralell port DB-25 connector), LineIn (line-level audio 3.5mm jack), MicIn (micro audio 3.5mm jack) LightIn (optic sensor)
  • 3 analog outputs: DAC analog output, TriggerOut, RS485 port

An additional benefit of the TriggerBox design is that it allows synchronization across multiple data sources that are distributed across multiple systems, each of which running at its own clock rate. One such case commonly experienced in EEG experiments involves the synchronization of EEG and eye-tracking measurements, where the inevitable clock drift that arises between two systems during extended measurements creates difficulty in aligning data to events across the two systems.

Auxiliary Sensors

The Mindful Mobile can be customized to include ExG sensors integrated on the cap, enabling the automatic synchronization of sensors including: ECG, EMG, HEOG, and VEOG. The sensor data is collected and recorded in the data acquisition software, Recorder, where you can view the EEG and ExG sensors in real-time.
