Wearable Sensing’s DSI EMG are dry electrode sensors that have a wired connection directly to the DSI-24, DSI-7, or DSI Flex system. The sensors can be placed on the body, and used to detect the electrical activity of the muscles
*Actual EMG data collected from DSI-24
EMG, or Electromyography, is a technique for recording and interpreting the electrical activity of groups of muscles at rest and during activity. Electrodes can be placed anywhere on the body, such as the arms or legs, which are used to detect the electric potential generated by muscle cells. EMG can be used to detect muscle abnormalities, activation level, recruitment order, or to analyze the biomechanics of movement.
